It's been an charity auction year for me this year. Two months ago, at my daugher's HS service club acution, we ended up coming hope with three rugs. One Herat, one Tabriz, and one Azerbaizani. Hand knotted. Just simply lovely. Last night we were at the PTA auction - after the last charity fund raiser couldn't even afford to raise a paddle. There was this lovely Kashan rug from the 50s. Hand knotted with the master weaver's signature. Over 500 knots per square inch. Did I buy it? Heh. That was 'valued' at 20K and was won at 10K. I came home with a miniature model loom for a 100 bucks. If I can't win the, I'll just weave them myself.

Ok, back at you.
