The announcement that, from now on, the top six associate countries will be able to play full one-day internationals against each other, or any of the Full Members...

And while a final decision has yet to be reached, it is likely that the one-day world rankings will be expanded to include the newcomers...
Sweeeet, now whenever our team have a long break from international cricket, they can invite one of those six associate members for an ODI series and earn some bonus points. Even better for our U/19 and development XI's, they can now get some good practice matches against different opponents. Probably, at the end of the day, we can bill ICC for all the cost for development purpose, after all we will be helping those countries to grow.
