No it was said sub continental players are basically lazy, not other teams. I don't see lazy fielders in England, SA, Australian sides, so this was about players here.
I would also say that this comment over the approach to fielding is disrespectful of the outgoing fielding coach who did such an amazing job. It implies Julien has made little impact on that belief.
Whichever way you wanna slice this up, the comments are poor. It is not about realism. It is about showing respect before you have even started. Swift doesn't even know who the players are for goodness sake. It's not great to start your first day off saying the workers are lazy and could have a bad attitude to their job.
Again, if you think that is a good start then that's fine, but I don't.
