Maybe we should start employing disciplinary/no non-sense figures from the grass roots level to look after these youngsters when they first come in to the system. Instill professionalism, self-reflection and valuing hard-work etc because its no coincidence most of these youngsters lack these qualities coming into the national team.

Without a strong foundation and guiding figure, we can't expect new generation players to continue having long-term success. They start off with a bang, think they're all that after getting showered in praises and gifts and then regress to a form worse than a club level cricketer without a care in the world.
