all he needs now a good coach who can guide him in the nets about these issues ?

do we have one ???
Only purely length ball players with EXCEPTIONAL hand-eye coordination, Gayle and Sehwag for example, get away with poor footwork and succeed in international cricket pretty much under all conditions. Such players are nothing short of freakish forces of nature and major exceptions to the norm. They should not be emulated by young players just into the highest level of the game from substandard domestic cricket, period.

Bijoy is a supremely talented young player with outstanding temperament and his hand-eye coordination is as good as Shakib's in the team. But working harder on his footwork on his own will only enhance his abilities and he needs to understand that in no uncertain terms.

Being an international opener or a virtual opener meaning a one-down batsman for Bangladesh means facing superior pace and early swing of the hard ball from far better new ball bowlers than he's used to. Things can get a lot more hairy if the pitch offers bounce and carry as they surely will in Australia, South Africa and England. So, there's no alternative to working on your footwork. If you sight the ball early enough, which Bijoy does, you can move your feet and play through the line with your head in the right position with enough time in the nets.

I don't have an issue with Bijoy being a slow starter as long as he is able to find gaps and rotate the strike with ease, and then switch gears AS NEEDED later to put runs on the board after all the hard work. Good footwork will help him do that.
