Otirikto kotha bole. He makes some sense but most of the responses are just bs or frustration. Banglay ekta kotha ase nah, "straightforward kotha bole". Ekdom tai.
He blames everything - coach, bcb, domestic structure, formalin fruits and our genetics. But doesn't blame the players that much.
Pressure? What pressure? we fans never expected our team to win this WC. All we wanted is to get to super 10 easily and win few games there to have a chance at semis. We would have been very happy with these results.
Infrastructure and facilities? Oh please. You lose to Afg and HK who have absolutely nothing.
Diet and fruit? Munir Dar ki orange juice khaiya boro hoise. Tarporo toh reza re 91m six mare.
Low fan expectation led SL to 96 WC win? Go see how they won. They had players like Ranatunga, De Silva, Jayasuryia who talked less and performed more.
Your salary is still nothing? SL players didn't get paid that includes legends like Sanga, Jaya who are 10 times any BD player can ever be. Zim players gets almost nothing and you still lose to them. BCB never did that and yet you guys stormed into lotus kamal's office and demanded a pay increase.
Okay fine, BCB has problems. Coaching isn't world class, infrastructure isn't up to standard. As a result, we aren't asking you to win all matches and lift world cups. We fans don't need much. Just minimum we are asking to play good cricket and win at least some of the matches. This year from SL series, Asia Cup to WC we played close to 20 matches and won only 2 and that too against Nep and AFG.
Is that really acceptable?
