My dear Mush Mush,
Please, learn to assess the match situation and adjust the game plan accordingly. This you can only do by throwing away the pre-match SCRIPT out of your pocket. You can also have more on-field conferences, too, with your more experienced team mates at crucial junctures of the match. Most importantly, as the skipper of the boat, you must evalute the strength and weakness of the opponent and individual players more closely. This Windies have not much problem playing pace but spin seems to bother them a bit. So...you know what I mean?
Could we see a bit more attacking mindset from you in the upcoming matches? More close fielders, creating pressure and thus picking up wickets? Sometime, it is much more commendable losing a game around the 40th over while trying to win than just merely extending it without any real fight, plan or hope.
Lastly, my dear Mush, you must bat much more responsibly. You would be better off by eschewing those heave against the turn to the cow corner when your team is too many wickets down for one's liking and the tail is about to be exposed. I do understand this shot has brought you good dividends in the past. But, the team comes first. You can also get used to the conditions and bowling before playing big shots. Your batting contribution is very important for the team.
Alles gute!
