Q3. Ricky Ponting told me something very interesting. He said, do not judge a captain by only his on-field performance. A cricket captain has to perform most of the duties before and after the game. Do you agree with that?

Answer. Very much. Having understanding with the players is very important. Another thing is that the whole team might want to play well for your sake. Also, it might happen that the whole team might have a lethargic attitude just because of you. Everyone might want to play only for himself. But trying to play well for the captain is another thing. For example, I think that when Bashar Bhai was the captain, I don't know about others, but at least I did like that. I felt that I should try to do well at least for him.
