01 Keeper: Dhiman Ghosh

03 Spinners: 1. Mahmudullah Riyadh, 2. Abdur Razzaq 3. Md. Rafiq

05 Pacers: 1. Mashrafee Bin Mortaza, 2. Syed Rasel, 3. Kazi Shahadat Hossain, 4. Farhad Reza 05. Sajidul Islam/Mahbubul Alam/Sumon Saha

There is scarcity of specialist batsmen in the odi squat. But Riyadh & Reza should be able to fill in the gap.

In the Test though, Rajin Saleh & Habul Bashar would come in for the two.

Now a few words for the seamers. The first 03 would make it without any doubt. The 4th place for the seam quatret would be a very interesting one. " target="_blank"> should be given some more time in age level and 'A' teams. Dollar Mahmud doesn't seem to possess any thing extra-ordinary. Ziaur Rahman is too erratic most of the times. Tapash Baisya has produced nothing fascinating so far. Very few would ask the selectors to reverse their decision. Talha Jubair bowling much better and if he keeps on improving his control, national colors may not be far away from him especially when there lies a large gap between the top 03 and the rest. That presents a golden opportunity for Mahbubul Alam Robin. This tall right-hander has been performing consistently well in the domestic circuit and in Academy / 'A' matches over the last couple of years. His batting is also impressive for a pacer. But one Sajidul Islam is ready to make life difficult for him and rest of the aspirants. This lad has 'rare' natural ability to extract swing both ways (a-la-syed rasel). Furthermore, in naked eyes, he looks much quicker & sharper than rasel. Debu in congenial kiwi conditions might be the perfect launching pad for Sajid. And then came Sumon Saha! His towering height, open chest action (remember Germaine Lawson?), aggressive attitude, good yorkers all sums up to be a quite exciting prospect. With worthy experience of three fc seasons behind him, Sumon needs some more impressive performances to be the surprise of the season.

great analysis man. sorry never heard about suman saha.other seems promising.I think Dheeman should be included in ODI and mushfiq in the test match. Imrul kayes is definitely a new addition. I think sajidul, mahbubul rabin, suman saha or mohammad shahjada still have to prove themselves for big matches. atleast play for A team or more league matches
