Default FIFA ranking update
I am eagerly waiting for the new ranking. I think we will be above the rank of Pakistan. What do you think?

latest Fifa Ranking.

SAAF Ranking:

India: 118
Maldives: 133
Bangladesh: 143
Sri-Lanka: 145
Pakistan: 158

Kazakhstan: 137
laughable Fifa ranking. Kazakhstan can give any SAAF team a real beating (ek hali'r nichey na). Recently Kazakhstan lost to Denmark 1-2.

Tajikistan: 141

Other Southeast Asian Countries:
Singapur: 92
Thailand: 109
Indonesia:110
Hong Kong: 117
Myanmar: 148 strange!!

Great teams:
Japan and Iran in the top 20. Korea Rep 29, Saudi 33, Iraq 54. Turkey 11 but not in the WC. Mexico dropped to 7 tied with USA.

No team has jumped double digit but only Bangladesh (17). Good climb added 72 points. India jumped 9. Qatar 6, Uganda 5.

this ranking is quite laughable. India, Myanmar is standing below bangladesh. Last month BD football team performed badly still they are up by 13

Attention, mods & admin: can this thread title be changed to "FIFA rankins update" please?

In the current ranking table Italy got the top spot, Argentina 2nd & Brazil 3rd. Top asian team Japan ranked 34th while top south asian team India ranked 145th. Bangladesh ranked 175th. Maldives 165, Sri Lanka 166, Pakistan 179, Nepal 185, Afghanistan 191 & Bhutan 197

The Next ranking gonna be published on 18th October. I hope our ranking position gonna improve this time. You can check this by clicking this link.

Sad to see we (172) are competing against Maldives (174) who dropped nine places. I remember the days when our club team (Abahani) trounced Maldives national team 9 goals.

Bangladesh finishes the year 2007 with 168 ranked team. India, Maldives, Pakistan & Sri Lanka are all above BD's rank and only Nepal, Afganistan & Bhutan are below BD's rank. Its really hurts me
