Sample size is too small to validate luck.
Opened 2 match thread and won 2.
Let's see whether I can make it 3 out of 3.
Will think about opening match thread after first loss

No chance for me in this series?
Champions trophy is not too far away, though

2nd ODI was not luck! It was a gift from Modi. The obviously wrong LBW call given by the local umpire was shocking. I think we have our share of inept and immensly intimidatable umpires too.

Well, we have already won the series, but our batting order sans Bashar still stays as a big worry. We have two batsmen in the bench who I think should be given a try in this match to see if they can make any difference. So my team is-
SN
Aftab
Tushar
Shakib
Ashraful
Farhad
Mushfiq
Rafique
Mashrafee
Razzak
Rasel
No Mashud, no Rajin, it is time to give SN a try as the national team captain.

I second your team. Thats the best one for 3rd ODI. Drop Piot and Rajin. I also want to rest Mashrafee and bring Shahadat. Mashrafee earned a rest

I thought about it too, but Mash should be fit enough to play three back to back ODIs. If our top order tumbles again, we may again need his batting. We want a whitewash, don't we ?

I second you. Shahadat deserves to get at least one match.

true...i think rotating should be the best bet...after all mash was taken for 53 runs.
still, what happens is that i want rajib in more than i want mash out

that's what cricinfo was saying on Tikolo's out. They were saying he had a thick edge and inspite he got out. Can anyone who watched verify that?
Then that would negate rafique's out.

I watched, there was hardly any edge, I could not see and Asif Karim was convinced that there was no edge.

Luck is not the only criteria; we need to perform well, like the last match against Zim.

Can we make some drastic change in the team for the 3rd ODI; I mean, replacing Ash by Tushar?

But I think that Rajin should be there in place of Mushfiq.

If Shahadat got to play in the 3rd ODI, I suggest he plays in place of Rafique. Rafique seems to be the one who really needs a break.
Also, a big reason we could not bundle up Kenyans under 100 runs yesterday, I think, is that Reza is not clicking as the 3rd pacer. If the Nairobi pitch stays as the same way it was for the last two matches, playing all three specialist pacers together may be a very good idea.

yea...spot on...the swing (or was it seam?) that mash was getting...and rasel's success also means we need 3 quicks. for heavens sake!
look at the kenya medium pacers...they wreaked havoc.
