Don't pin too much hopes on Ashraful for 3rd day.
I am not being pessimistic, but instead looking at a realistic point of view. Our fightback against Sri Lanka has been very rare, infact I don't remember any fightback from a difficult position against Sri Lanka in my living memory. My heart suffered a lot previously, expecting something massive everytime, and that feeling was ineluctable, but now I have contrived to change that, so I don't get disappointed as often as I used to in the past. I am not posting a long essay but just trying to say to other members 'Lets hope for the best, but the most important thing , always prepare for the worst, according to certain circumstances', or else when Ashraful edges one or gets yorked the first ball of the day, there will be multiple threads relating to Ashraful and I don't want to discuss how the genre of those posts shall be like, as I guess everyone knows that!
Hope our hearts doesn't sink in the same manner today when the umpire raises his towards Ash.

Ashraful and Bashar owe it to the team and all their fans to put up some decent resistance today. After watching the hara kiri batting yesterday, that looks quite unlikely. Bashar simply looks over the hill, and my expectations from him are minimal. If we have to put up any fight, it has to come from Ashraful and Mushfiq.

rahim has yet to peform in a test so relax my boy...
Ashraful, when you perform, the whole nation rocks, we havn't rocked since your 67 off 42... now that is a long time in my watch
Mortaza, i consider you as a batsmen now, so get angry, get mad and hittttttttt
bashar, you may be well as approaching your death clock of your international cricket career, play if you want to "extend" it.
the rest of you, i couldn't care less if you scored golden ducks, but don't do it just cause i said so..

67 from 42 was not "rocking", its more like pebbling. 158* was rocking.
i don't expect anything from ash because:
1) its ash
2) this is series has been utter garbage, the worst series ever so far...
3) bash, mushy, and tail won't last long enough for enough kind of rocking
still i hope ash can hit 100 as always. who doesn't? but don't bet your sleep on it.

and besides... at the most... i expect a half century from him.. i dont think he has any sort of confidence in himself rite now... none of the batsmen do....
and if i make it one of the "ash days"... then i guess at the rate were goin at... even then it wil be a century.. not even 150.... it just cant reach there... so ya..

I don't care how much he scores...I want him and Bashar to somehow survive till lunch...and one of them to surve till after tea. Thats the only way we go can stretch this to the 4th day.

I got up at 5am and checked the score and saw Golla and Nafees is playing 1 day cricket. So I went to bed thinking may be they will survive the rest of the day. But when I saw the game tonite and the way everbody got out...what can i say...
Bashar and Ash will not be able to do anything but I will pray for them so that they can regain some of our pride.

2. Ashraful scoring a century is not a "miracle". Its a great performance anyways.
