Congratulation Shafiul Islam for your Maiden Half-Century
Congratulation to both the double Islams for their Maiden Half-Centuries. Shafiul Islam's Maiden Half-Century came at a crucial time. Now go get' em with the ball.

Told you so, re: the other Islam, Nayeem. He'll pee fifties and crap hundreds if given the opportunity to bat up the order in Tests.

Ditto. Solid defense. Enjoyed every bit of his batting.
Congrats to Shafiul, as well as Nayeem. It's both of their maiden fifties...wish them the best of luck for a longggggggg stay with the BD team.

SIddons should work with his batting technique. So as with Rubel! So that we can have 11 batsmans in the team

Simply amazing how Shafiul batted.
Looks like a very decent tailender we have.
Hope the management looks to the issue and we have a jem in our hand.
Congrats Naeem too.
This is just the beginning for him.
He is just outstanding.

Congrats Shafi!
He should make in the team before Aftab for his batting alone.

Wow, our bowlers are becoming batsmen too. This is great, because the lower order will not become intimated and can add some valuable runs to the innings. Nayeem is the guy who Jamie should work with deligently, he can also be a big hitter, but now I think that he bats according to the situation.
What I am noticing now is that most of these boys are valuing their place in the National team and playing well. This is what other countries especially Australia does, this is the reason they have great players who perform consistently.

Very valuable runs.
Now, go get us some wickets, and prove you're the #1 Bangladesh fast bowler.

We're opening threads for 50s too now?
What's next? Jahurul Islam getting a thread for getting off the mark in test cricket?
Aside from that, yes, valuable runs indeed. Please do so more often.

I have belief that it would be more preferable to put Shafiul in place of Imrul. I can gurantee that he has the power. He has a higher average plus more strike rate, the ideal parter for TAMIM IQballs. Imrul has never scored more than 33, but Shafiul has 20 more than that. Bhimruler Bidai Chai.

Or maybe we should congratulate him every time he manages to see a short one off.

Ian, I wholeheartedly agree. I'm simply questioning the equality factor here:

How about some threads for bowlers when they get a 4 or 5-fer? Seems to be a batsman's game here.
