Time: 12:01 am (BDT),Wednesday,10th November

Venue: South Plaza, Jaityo Shongshad Vobon(The National Parliament House of Bangladesh)


"Deputy speaker (Shawkat Ali) will inaugurate the countdown at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad which will be followed by a firework show"

Steyn, Morkel to shark dive to mark 100-day 2011 WC countdown

South African pace duo of Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel will shark dive on Tuesday with the 2011 World Cup trophy to mark the 100-day countdown to the opening ceremony of the sporting extravaganza.

Steyn and Morkel will perform the stunt in the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo in the presence of his teammates and the Pakistan team.

ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat will also witness the flagship event which will see the South Africans taking the prestigious ICC trophy to the bottom of the Dubai Aquarium, one of the largest indoor aquariums in the world.

is it just me or does the FIFA WC trophy has a better and a cooler design then the Cricket WC trophy ... - x days = WC cricket
