Indeed it is very sad. But with no surf life saving/rescue and lack of education regarding rips, waves etc these things will always happen

Default Cant find any words of sympathy.. its just shocking!

total number of death is actually 11
and guess wht.. 9 of them were at the end of their graduation in Architecture.
withing the next 3/4 monthes they ud hav been fulltime Architects serving the nation!
and the rest 2 were Mechanical Dept. students of BUET..
no real words of sympathy is enough to express the shock..
innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajuin.

Default About that incident

It's really very shocking. Actually the programme is organised by the architecture students of different level/ terms of Khulna university and they took guests with them.
I have a friend there and he was also in the tour. But he survived death allah'r rohmote.
He was also taked away by the wave but rescued by fellow students.

There were no teachers with them. It's just a student's approach and they didn't take any security pre-cautions.
We don't have coast guards or likeminded ppls engaged in our main coastline and this was another sad incident which can easily avoided.
May their departed soul rest in piece.

I've heard that 2 may be 3 of the students stucked into quicksand and wave just drowned them and choaked into death.
