Anyway, our cricketers are pretty handsome according to a friend of mine. She's a huge Bangladesh cricket fan and works for the US Peace Corps. She thinks Rubel in particular is "pretty hot", calls Junaid, Mashrafe and Riyad "pretty boys" and Mushfique "cute". Other than Razzak, Nazimuddin, Sunny and Nasir, she has said flattering things about how our cricketers look.

She also thinks that Rickshawalas, fishermen and farmers are the hottest guys in Bangladesh. Lean, strong and never without a six-pack.

The women whom I've talked to like his chiseled manliness, built and confident swagger. None these women, especially the Bangladeshi ones (mostly NRBs or with the NRB experience), list fairness and/or Middle Eastern features as the standard of beauty. They think for themselves and are not influenced by petit-bourgeois conditioning and the poorly concealed self-loathing and racism we see so often within the Banglish crowd.

There's huge fondness for Shakib and a leaner Tamim also BTW.

how is racism any different from YOUR hatred, or at least cynicism towards "petit-bourgeois" NRBs.

Not only he is great looking but he has education,he has great personality, a great family man,loves cricket.
