Default ODI Rankings
After New Zealand's 2nd defeat of the 5 match series against Sri Lanka, they've now moved down to 72 points, just one above Bangladesh. I'm assuming if it's a whitewash they'll be ranked below us so we may see ourselves back up to 8th for the second time in our history. I wonder what score we have to beat Windies by in the ODI series to leapfrog them too.

Right now the Kiwis are struggling.... its the best time to have a series with them. They are still stronger than us but i feel like home advantage would be the deciding factor for both

If we lose the series by 3-2, we will still be above NZ

Currently we have 75 points(we got 4 points from today's win), whereas NZ have 72

ODI's rankings will be irrelevant after upcoming Champions Trophy is over . Let's just focus on winning the series.

I must say we're getting strong in ODIs.

Why irrelevant?? Besides respect...if affects in WC groupings and un officially the FTP ...so it's pretty important.

We need winning the series ranking will automatically rise. We will be one of the strongest ODI team within few years.

inshallah ....made me chuckle coach. This is such a common word even the non-muslims use in Bangladesh at the end of a sentence. Nothing wrong with that though just found it funny.

A rank is just a number. The way the guys played yesterday and have been playing in ODIs since the Asia Cup, I think it's safe to say we're among the top, possibly #1 or #2 in terms of quality.

I think we have a 100% winning record at this stadium. Let's first focus on keeping it that way. Then winning the series and so on. Ranking is just a side note.
