musfiq is captain i had really dout that he is even close to capable of being captain of bangladesh , being a captain of bd that wasn't his choice but i guess selector thought they didn't have other choice , as u can see bd bowling performance really poor since he become a captain , it just lack of his ability , he just doesn't know which bowlers to use when most needed , not even australia s africa or any other country in the world ever used 2 spin bowler with new ball but musfiq did , that shows lack of temperament on his captaincy , but someone like riad can must do better job than him as being bd captain , simple bcz he is more respectable to all the bd player and i am sure he is more intelligent than musfiq , and it might give chance for bangladesh bowling attack to be shine

He is a strong supporter of LK and Riyad.... In fact Riyad should never be around captaincy or VC....he is such a laid back and coward character....Mushy has his problem, but Riyad in captaincy will be a bigger problem...

He needs to be removed from captaincy if not have Shakib as vice-captain in tests so he can assist and Mortaza as vice-captain in limited overs for the same. Mahmudullah no offence just doesn't do anything as vice-captain.

Only reason Mushfiq is captain because there is no one else, and his position is somewhat guaranteed because he is keeper and a useful batsman. Shakib is probably the best candidate, but management are right about not adding more burden on him. Its sad but we dont have a lot of leaders or wise/shrewd thinking cricketers. And it was a joke how the likes of Shahriar Nafees, Alok Kapali etc were struggling with captaincy at BPL. The last two good captains were Khaled Mahmud and Naimur Rahman. Both thinking cricketers.

Good idea! Since Musfiq owns BD national team and it's okay for BD to lose all games next one year!

Mushy was sacked from his captaincy from Sk Jamal at DPL last year after 1 or 2 games..

I haven't seen any captain knock from Mushy . He is lucky Lotus Kamal is no longer Chief !! This Papon is also unfit as BCB chief . Mushrafee should have been the ODI Captain.

My point is if mushy deserve to be a captain for 1 years and we still continue to losing in test badly after a decade of playing it , than riad definitely deserve a chance of captain based on his statics

Mushfiq has limitations and flaws. But there are much bigger problems with Bangladesh Cricket. If they were not there, we would not be talking about Mushfiq.

As much as we are upset with Mushy, the primary blame must go to the coach for not able to guide him, and the selectors and team management who seem to be clueless how to select the right team or make the pitch according to our strength.
