I don't see any problem with his words. The target was to win the matches. But if you fail to do so, that doesn't mean that's the end of the world. It was really good to score 250+ every match. I am echoing his words too.

He deserves bashing for his batting. But his captaincy looks ok to me. He is a new and very young captain and needs time. He has the crappiest team among the ICC full members. We must not forget it.

I think that they will have a harder time against the Kiwis than in the Tri series and the test match against India. They were playing on their own turf, here, they are playing away from home and on bouncy wickets. They are just not comfortable against the rising ball. Also, the Kiwis are better fielders than the Asian teams. Hope they win at least one match, maybe, the 20/20.
In the test match, to play sensibly and not lose by an innings.

no, atm NZ is very beatable atm, even for BD. they despite no wins BD had a good performance in the last tri-series and i expect them to continue that higher standard of play, if they do they should be NZ.

it will be a great contest btwn Sakib & Vettori.
Both are spinners & allrounders & both are captain.

Sakib has a long way to go before he can reach Vettori's standard, of course compare the age difference. anyhow, Vettori is about the classiest captain I have seen, never arrogant and quite cool under pressure.

I really think that Sakib cannot take the pressure of captainship. And thats why hes not playing well. So, i think that it should be either handed over to an experienced player or to someone who is not as good a batsman as Sakib.

I will be happy if we just win one ODI dammit. SAKIB's overconfidence led to his downfall in both of the tests in terms of batting

You can target but I think the recent performance in Champion's Trophy tells everyone where the series result is headed. Better focus on personal fitness and performance - we need to beat Englad in test and ODI, series win or not.

Yup, Vettori is definetly my favorite captain and player.
He is a great spinner and a better batsmen then any of our players.

Looking at Tamim/Shakib/Mushi/Ash (on his Eid day) - we need 2 of these 4 to perform and that is being realistic. So BD can win 1 ODI and with some luck and Eid bonus the 2nd one. In the test, they are capable of giving a fight and taking the match to 5th day.
The challenge for our batters is whether they can face NZ pacers in their home condition.

As a target it's ok I guess. What else he could target.
But it could have been better to promise playing good cricket instead.

i hope bd atleast win 1 odi, although i won't be fully satisfied if we don't win the odi series, as far as the tests go, as long as our batsmen, not batsman performs, i'm happy.
and as for the disaster of 2nd test goes, let's just hope lightning don't strike twice at the same place so quickly

He is also quite a dashing Italian. One of my very favourite players. Always chooses his words carefully.

Shakib targets everything but he hardly acheives anything at all. He targeted from last year in getting an IPL contract, desperately crying for one unfortunately no one noticed him. He targeted for a good show against India, failed miserably with the bat, his bowling was mediocore. After listening his interviews I felt Murokho Ashraful was more sensible in giving bhanga chura lectures.
