You kidding me? He should have been fired a long ago and he is trying to bargain!!

Hope its a temporary move because we need quite a bit of help to improve in the bowling and fielding area. We have done poorly in these departments in the last couple of years.

Inclusion of Salahuddin is definitely a good move. It's too late for having any effect of any kind in the T20WC. Also, we need a specialist bowling coach for sure, pace bowling in particular. Champaka was not the best choice to begin with.

Salahuddin is a good motivator. He did terrific job with our spinner earliar but failed to improve in fielding department. So I think he is not permanent solution for our pacers and fielders though he should stay as a spin bowling coach. We should bring two different foreign coaches for fielding and pace bowling before '11wc.

BCB dont want to spend money on bowling and fielding coaches, spending money on politicians (who knows nothing about cricket)to accompany team as observers. What a shame! Leeches is all I can think about.

Will he also be the coach for the English tour? and the Asian games. I feel that BCB has no interest in hiring a foreign fielding and bowling coach who can inject new energy and new ideas, even a consultant on a temporary basis is OK.
They dont want to spend money, just keep the money to send observers to have holidays when the team goes on tour.
