I fear Chawla most than any of Indian bowler. He always troubled our batsmen.

Impressive fightback by India. In fact a couple of close decisions went against the Indian spinners. Chawla was on the money. Luckily for us, our top & middle order is stacked with lefties who may be more comfortable facing a leggie! Watch out for the wrong'un! Even Ashwin looks a decent spinner. Having said that this was a genuine spinners' pitch with turn and disconcerting bounce.

IMO our best chance is to win the toss and put them in and try and restrict them to a score similar to this game and hope our batsmen do a better job of chasing it.

Good win but frankly don't care about warm up match.

I think Aussies thrown it away, they are missing M.Hussey big time

So you mean if Hussey had played, Aussies would've won?

this gives me hope that we can crush the aussies, if we get to play them!!! But, the sad part is that india as a team is growing in confidence

Hussey is made for such situations. Aus needed someone to just hang in there. No one did. Ponting threw his wicket away and the same goes for the lower order.

But all praise for India, they have made winning a habit.

sure, India missed Zaheer and sachin. Again aussies did not throw it away, India plucked it from them . I thought both the teams took it serious enuff, it might be a warm up but still its counted as a ODI.

India won it coz of Aussies weakness against spin, they might not be able to do the same against other Asian teams. Again, Indian batting collapsed to Aussie pace attack, it might not happen again. I am little concerned about Raina/Yuvi and Dhoni's form, all 3 cannot continue to fail time and again.

Definitely no doubt. In my opinion M.Hussey is the best player of spin in Aus squad (remember he taking on Ajmal in the T20 world cup)

yes our batting is very rusty, its not due to the Aus pace bowling, most of our batsman are seriously out of form, they would collapse for any bowling attack.

Hoping NZ will be generous enough to give batting practice to Indian batsmen.

Saw the game untill ponting finished batting twice ..........

Indian Batting was very ordinary and spinners were excellent. After PP, almost the new ball was turning, and was turning a lot.

Everyone took it seriously, but not necessarily for winning. it was just a practice match.

Glad to see the aussies getting beaten. In 2007, they never lost a match even a warm up. Now the other teams are stronger, In 2007, they bullied all the teams and established their dominance. Glad to see them coming down to earth and England, SL, SA can beat them convincingly.
