I'm hoping WI will lend us a hand in getting to the next round. No reason why WI can't beat the English. Subcontinental conditions suit the WI batsmen and bowlers better than the English. Instead of getting all the wins in the first round I'd rather see us sneak through to the next round and then win a few matches in the elimination rounds.

This is the toughest I guess and beyond our control. While it's easy and in our control to beat SA. We just have to play well.

Our 58 all out loss hurts us in the way that WI has a much better run rate. So I am afraid we have to beat SA to get to second round. England had their fair share of upsets by being beaten by both Ireland and BD. So Eng will try to restore some pride by beating WI.
What works in our favor is we would know the Eng-WI results before facing SA and thus know what we have to do.
Looking at BD's performance so far, we are still on track except for the RR differential for the 58 all out mess.
On the other had SA win against Ind (upset?) makes up for the loss against Eng (upset?). So SA is set up for a loss... Go BANGLADESH Go...

Pray that WI beat England, but England will be all out to beat WI, because it is a must win game.

Beating SA will be so hard.

Also England will almost surely beat WI. We need to bring back Lara from retirement.

sa have screwed us in this world cup. they choked against england, they'll choke against ireland and then just for good measure they'll thrash us.
