Default Is There Anyway The Fans Can Help to Force The Changes Required?

We all know we need some changes right at the moment which are long due now. The long due tasks includes...
  • Change the board management.
  • Change in the board policy.
  • Decentralize cricket in Bangladesh.
  • Strengthening domestic competition quality
  • Strengthening academy, A team, high performance unit activities to development a good pipeline for new players
  • Positioning our young players in good quality overseas leagues.
Can we do anything about these? We fans have a huge capabilities which we have shown recently in the event organized for sending flowers to WI players to say that we are sorry.

Ideas?

We should go for the root cause - take some inspiration from what's happening in the Arab world and stage a revolution to get rid of Hasina-Khaleda feudalistic political system. Until that happens, you are not going to see any radical improvement in any sector controlled by the government.

No political movement is practical for this country right now. Unless you know you surely have some good alternatives as politicians, no meaning of such movements.

We should focus to create some pressure on the board for changes. I am sure we cannot achieve much. But moving one step forward is better than nothing.

Strengthening our domestic squad is the most important thing that has to be done. Without it our team will barely improve past where they are.

But the question is how to achieve it.

Actually it is not so easy to force the correct changes.
Fans are the best part of Bangladesh cricket; still the majority of us CAN NOT judge matters on their merit. Siddons issue is a prime example.

The main problem with the management side is, a stupid at some place in the process can ruin everything. For example, if we have a good domestic structure producing capable players; but at the same time we have a set of selectors who do not pick players on their domestic performances, the befit is not transmitted. With Siddons we have seen first of all the experienced players were said good bye and then sticking with a certain set of good-book players, irrespective of their performances. Even with the current set up of our domestic cricket we certainly had more capable players than many of the 15 that represented us. So, even the wrong vision of a Buchanan or Siddons is enough to nullify the effect of all the progress.

You sure you want BC to close down ?
Plus they'd take away any prize you have ever received.

How about we wait to see what changes these revolutions bring about, before wanting to emulate them....

Hasina-Khaleda are not the downfall of Bangladesh, the educated elite who sell their souls to glorify them are the real bane of Bangladesh.
