shohrawadi shuvo should be selected in test matches. thats his original position, he is not best for odi or 20/20. hopefully they will select him in test.

alok should be in 20/20 for sure

imrul kayes should not be dropped. i am supporting our last years highest run maker

only worry is bowlers

mahmudullah is VC, so he will get more bowling than shakib's era.

mushfiq-- hopefully he will rotate bowlers wisely

my Test XI:

1. Tamim(on his day, he does his job)
2. Shubhogauto Hom(yes, a bold move with him opening, could possible be the most destructive opening pair in BD Cricket History )
3. Naeem(the longer format is the best format for him IMHO, plus #3 is where he excels best< stability is needed here and he provides that)
4. Rahim(wk)/captain(stability at top order...)
5. Mahmudullah
6. Shakib
7. Alok
8. Shafiul(not giving up on him, he is still a good bowler in my book)
9. Shahadat
10. SunnahMan(his chance to shine here )/Elias Sunny(i am ok with either...)
11. Rubel

reserves: Shahriar Nafees, Siddique, Chokher moni, (credit goes to tiger's_Eye for the eyecatching term hehehe), Imrul Kayes

my ODI XI:

1. Tamim
2. Homboy
3. Naeem(nothing wrong here....)
4. Rahim
5. Riyad
6. Shakib
7. Alok
8. Nasir Hossain
9. Shafiul
10. Rubel
11 Nazmul Hossain

you have a complete batting/bowling lineup here , if someone has a bad day with the ball, you have plenty of options for back up...
reserves: Imrul Kayes, Elias Sunny, Shahriar Nafees, Syed Rasel

That odi line up would trouble most teams day in, day out.

I think this group of 23 should be the core team and 22 of them should be in the payroll for them to be motivated to stay fit and eager to perform. Rasel, Shahadat, Kapali like players should still be around for backups and injury needs and dropping them from preliminary squad and not including them in payroll or some kind of of a retention package may be a setback from these players.

We should also start creating a T20 team that are experts in maximising balls and can hit clean.. like Kapali, Sabbir, Naeem etc. T20 is a big event and money earning exercise that BCB and its players must get into too... If we can export T20 players for Int'l tournaments, its better for our players and better for BCB too..

Good lot, every expected are there. But please drop that Shuvo forever. He simply doest have it,He is a bellow average player, he can never improve. waste of a slot. Babu would benefit from this opportunity with law, a lot.

Ya I think Shuvo has had enough time to show what he's got and even Zimbabwean batsmen played him with ease. He's gonna have to work hard on his bowling. Also Razzak should be under scrutiny. The way he bowled today just shows he's gonna have at least leg stump half volley an over which we can't afford. Sunny and Sajib did a good job today. I would think Sunny would get nod ahead of Shuvo for this tour.

Disagree here bhai. Dhiman should've gotten a chance ahead of Saghir. After doing so well in the NCL, he's been forgetten. On top of that Saghir's not doing anything to deserve to be in the A team. Also the way Farhad played today, he should still be kept around. He's got decent pace in his bowling and also can do a fair bit of batting. Plus we still lack pace allrounders. So I wouldn't rule either out.

Given the sad status of our top order, some serious experimentation is needed. Potential candidates include Naeem, Hom, and Mushfiq, among others.

Here is my Test XI:
1. Tamim
2. Nafees
3. Zunaed
4. Ashrafail
5. Shakib
6. Mushfiq(c/wk)
7. Naeem
8. Riyad
9. Shafi
10. Rubel
11. Robiul/Razzak/Nazmul
Razzak only comes in if the wicket is turning sharply, but I'd be happy to have Riyad, Naeem and Shakib bowling spin.

Still you guys are loving Naeem Islam, the fact is our selectors are blind ; they think Ashrafool is the only solution for the no.3 spot. So there is no spot for him up at the batting order. We can try Hom there, and we should pick Alok Kapali instead of Ashrafool. His brain is better than this FOOL.
