No coach can instill discipline to the Bangladeshis. Different culture, it must be very difficult and frustrating for the coaches that these guys cannot follow the rules of playing a test match.
They have played 3 test matches since the beginning of the year and no one has scored a hundred, whereas the Zims and Windians have done so.
Bowling is not up to standard when you cant get 20 wickets in a test match, and batting is weak when you allow the other team to get 20 wickets.

Its so sad that after 10 years in test cricket we still hear the same tone from our foreign coach. Same defense. Coaches have been changed several times over the years but the frustration is still the same..

Are we in the wrong business? Cricket structure is just not the one and only only excuse. These players are getting top quality training and still dont know the value of Test cricket. Still those same khochas, still dropping easy catches, still our wickets are very very cheap. Something is seriously wrong.

I know one good performance here and there and people will forget everything (BC will be full of new official threads) but this issue seriously deserves a good look.
There is a thing called "culture". Culture definites the mind set of the people. Our poor cricketing culture controls us. Unless the cricketing structure and culture change nothing will happen.

the problem is people expect miracles overnight...coz 50 yrs back....there were no internet cricket forums or technology to scrutinize the team....people dint even bother....so all teams had breathing space as they all took decades to reach the level where they are now, and yet manage to get whitewashed in a tour of england as if they are new entrants in test cricket....grow up, a 10 year old boy can NEVER EVER HAVE the wisdom of a 70 year old mann......how much ever u do it....u cant break NATURE'S LAWSSS.....hell, we couldnt compete in odis...now we can skittle out a major team for 61...we couldnt make other teams bat twice..now we make them bat twice and make them toil for victories...then slowly, u'll start seeing even closer finishes.....and some heartbreaking and some suicide type losses...and then a victory here and there far and between, and then ocassional test victories...and then reach that level....but looks like the tech is advanced so much that people indeed believe a 10 year old boy can be fed with artifical intelligence that make them gain wisdom of a 70 year old man....stop living in effing dreams guyss.....!!! we are perfectly normal, infact better than normal than what other countries were at during the same phase in their cricket history.....sheesshh...people here really!!

Sometime I wonder there must be communication gap between coach and player.

^^ They are just trying to look serious for the camera.

I bet 80% of them have already forgotten 90% of what was told, while 70% didnt even understand 60% of what was being said.

Mushy is just self-inspiring himself from Chander's youthful look.

Good to see our players are trying to learn. Problem is that, theories dont improve your game.... they need to do a lot of hard work to materialize what they already learnt/knew. Our lacking is in that hard part of acquiring skills. All lazy @sses.... Skills don't grow through lectures...

Totally agree with Banfan bhai...it is that forever old saying in our lives in Bangladesh....Teacher, mother, father saying about the student, "Brain achey, medha achey, shudhu portey chai naa, shudhu dushtami"....that old saying again again...just having kutna fotkabazi brain + Hook Worms, BUT no effort, ho application, no hard work, no grit, no self-evaluation, no process, no self-realization, no self-criticism and no accountibility, no sense of responsibilty, no conscience, no active Bibek DOES NOT and Will NOT make us no Chanderpaul, never!
