Without a doubt, you need technique, temperament, and fitness. None in the current team has all; none has the last one. What we need is a Hanif Mohammad type player in the test team. In the Bridgetown test in 1958, Pakistan scored 106 (mouse) replying to WI's 579 (elephant)! After following on, Hanif dug deep and batted for 16 hours and 10 minutes! Pakistan scored 657, Hanif scored 337. The match was drawn.
