Smile Is 2012 turning out to be Sakib's best year?
We are not even half way, although the 2nd half of the year doesn't have that much of cricket, but still the way Sakib performed so far it can be his best year.

Sakib had a brilliant series against Pakistan, Man of the tournament in BPL, MoSeries in Asia cup, scored a lot of runs in Tests(highest score of 144), became n°1 Test AR+ n°1 ODI AR & very recently won the MoM award in IPL for the first time.

If I am not mistaken, a cricketing calendar starts in the middle of a year (June/July?). Taking that into account, Shakib's 2011/2012 has been a success story beyond doubt. We can call this season to an end from Bangladesh's perspective.

So, yes 2011/2012 has been a far better year for Shakib in comparison to 2010/2011. All the best for the future.
...
Oh and another thing, there is no such thing as jinxing in Shakib's dictionary so you guys can go on and on and on.

At U-19 there were so many performers and Shakib was just one of them. What happened to the rest? Why can't they step up even as half of Shakib?

Time to revisit this thread

Sak came back home after a very successful IPL season where he became the best all rounder , and today played for Victoria & was the player of the match..taking 2 wckts & scoring a fifty to take his team home.
We are just half way of 2012, I'm so thrilled when I think of the next 6 months.
