Default BanglaCricket T20 XI - Specialist Bowling Department

How many specialist spinners/pacers should be in the Bangladesh Cricket Team for T20's?

T20 is a whole different ball game and many tactics can be employed to ensure there is a long batting order and lots of options for the captain in bowling.

Specialist spinners/pacers are in the team primarily for bowling (e.g. Razzak, Mashrafe, Rubel, Shafiul, Shahadat, Elias Sunny etc.). NOT players such as Shakib, Mahmudullah, Nasir Hossain, Ziaur Rahman etc who are also batsmen.

Specialist spinners/pacers normally fill the no. 8, no. 9, no. 10 and no. 11 positions in the batting lineup.

This poll ends in 5 days.

Discuss.

Mash, Rubel & Nazmul should be picked up. Then we have Abdur Razzak, Shakib for sure. If Ziaur gets picked, he can bowl some medium pacers.

Mahmudullah, Nasir and Ziaur can bowl 4 overs between them (or when Shakib returns, that 4 full overs right there) - so I'm going for 4 bowlers - so it's definitely 2 pacers + 2 spinners. 3 pacers is way too risky, especially now when Rubel is injured.

Mashrafe, Nazmul, Razzak, Sunny.

Its unlikely that Rubel will play in the T20 World Cup.

Ziaur (pacer), Shakib (spinner), Ashraful (spinner), Mahmudullah (spinner), Nasir (spinner/pacer) can all bowl.

So the best combo will be 2 pacers and 2 spinners - Nazmul, Mashrafe, Razzak, Elias.

We have already got 3 pacers (Mashrafe, Nazmul, Ziaur) which is enough.
