England have such an ugly game. Who will face them in the quarters? Hope it's a decent team.

So all of you are ignoring the fact he was offside when the initial through ball came?? Goal line ref was blind, but that goal not counting was justice.

Having said that England were lucky, piss poor midfield performance AGAIN...not to mention Joe Hart is such a crap keeper, his distribution is not international standard. He kept giving the ball back to the opposition after every goal kick or clearance, just aimless hoofs upfield

Win is a win no matter how it comes, it wasn't the pretiest they can play but they got the win without even playing their best and thats what matters, WINING..

England play Italy in the quarters now. And I think we can beat them, C'mon ENGLAND

3/4 of the Qtr Finals should be crackers. Greece vs Germany on the other hand will be a mismatch.

you never know... the Greece game could be a tricky one for the Germans. I remember Portugal was in red hot form too when they met Greece in the finals

That Greece squad was much better than this, they had quite a few decent players. I think their captain is the sole survivor from that tournament.

This is truly battle of midfield so far in scoreless 1st half.
Czech only 1 shot and Portugal 4 Shots (only 1 on target)!!!

Portugal deservedly through to the semi finals. If only they had a striker, between Ronaldo and Nani, they have so much thrust on the wings...but the strikers(Postiga, Almeida, Rolando) are all useless.

Portugal will be very dangerous in the latter stages of the tournament (well, namely the semis and the finals if they make it). Ronaldo is having a very good run here after an ordinary showing in I think the first game.

Where did Greece find this goal keeper?

I predict Portugal vs. Germany final. I think Portugal will pull off an upset win against Spain.

He isn't their number one keeper...regardless, he was horrible. Spilled every single shot, and completely at fault for the Klose goal

Germany haven't used Lukas Podolski even, and they score 4! with 4 different scorer!
They seems full packed stars in middle and front, but their defence is sloppy. Unless Italy stops them in Semi my bet on them for title.

Very happy to see the Greeks finally getting what they deserve. Teams like that can make you hate the game you love or find interesting. Haven't been this relieved since Rokibul and Nazimuddin got the proverbial ax.
