Jiang Shuyao – Cleethorpes cricketer leading China's new revolution

With his blood-red batting gloves and Jonty Rhodes-esque fielding, the strokemaker from Shenyang is breaking boundaries as the first Chinese player to appear in an overseas league.

"I like training for one or two hours here. In China we train for four hours, have some rice and then train for another four. And here you can say 'hello' to another player in training. If you do that in China you must run 10 laps of the pitch."

Khaise.... Thats a militaristic cricket team they're gonna have. They'll probably time their square drive to the beat of a snare drum. And then kill us all with their heaving sixes!

Dare to wake the sleeping giant?

Run 10 laps for saying Hi? Holy cow? I always figured they would have some sort of strict training routines but not this strict.

Why they have to do 10 laps for saying Hi? This is tough. I would love to see China playing cricket. They will be an extraordinary fielding side for sure..

বিশ্বসুন্দরীর মুকুট এবার উঠলো চীনা সুন্দরীর মাথায়। এবারের প্রতিযোগিতায় সেরা নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন চীনের উ ওয়েনজিয়া।
Armchair selectors name their XI and conduct heated selection meetings on internet. Blood young players, some experts cry. Pick the best players, regardless of age, insist others.

They should make a movie named Shaolin Cricket the same way they made shaolin soccer

The batsman will have so much concentration that they can locate the ball even with the eyes closed and give Jhonty rhodes like jump here and there.
