It wont be fair to call this innings attacking but ruthless. In test matches, you will attack the bowler to unsettle their mindset, rythm, line-length. A batsmen like him can easily force any bowler to make errors. If u keep making singles with ease when bowlers bowl on good line & length that will make the bowler try somerhing else which lead up to more bad deliveries. Thats how one dominate the game and stay on top of opposition.

I can't freaking believe this. Whats he going to say now, oh this is my style of playing? If you can't alter your so called style of playing when the team really needs you the most, than what's the point.

Tamim always looks to be in two minds in clutch situations.
thats what differentiates him from Sakib or Nasir.

Why does Tamim almost always fail at such a crucial time?

Shetai... he is always double minded whenever he has to play defensive... But as a good opener he should've learnt this by now.. I lost count of how many times he got out like that... stupid...

Talk some more.
Also blame whoever in the management told him to play slowly, he never succeeds playing slowly.

Tamim should never start slowly. I have never seen him getting successful that way. Today he was leaving a lot of balls and finally went for a good one!
He should play like the way he plays. I don't want him to be our Dravid! I will be happy if he becomes our Gilli....

he just said it after the first inn that there are batsman who score to settle.down and there r those who play balls to set themselves.
so more often TI gets few fours early gets him set.

Tamim seriously needs to lose weight keeps getting fatter otherwise his career will be over. I think he takes his place for granted and selectors should be strict on these places and that includes dropping your best players. Its the only way we improve by setting standards high.

I think TI should shut his mouth, and stop giving interviews he makes himself look like a complete moron.

The fans should also shut their mouth infact....stop calling him a world class every now and then, while he is only a flat pitch trigger happy guy...he is yet to contribute in any test match for us to change the result of the match. His centuries against England is as good as Ash's centuries against SL and others...so why we give him more credit for that?? Infact Ash should get more credit for doing it at a time, we hardly had anyone to do that and we were beginners in test match. But TI gets more credit to the fans for doing it even now..
This guy needs to perform for the team, instead of hanging rigidly with his "This is my game" song...if you have any class, then shut up and you should be able to play according to the surface, Bowling and need of the team....

if your point was why fans call tamim WC then it would have had weight but comparing tamim with SIR is laughable..you wont have to go further..their AVG will distinguish between them, SIR is little 16 runs behind, and even with tamim's AVG not being par

I don't think you read it...Ash name might have taken the toll on your patience.... it's not about Ash, it's about hitting centuries without influencing the result of the match, irrespective of whoever does that. We don't need another Ash with better average...we need a player who can contribute when it matters and then he can be called WC.
And then:
This guy needs to perform for the team, instead of hanging rigidly with his "This is my game" song...if you have any class, then shut up and you should be able to play according to the surface, Bowling and need of the team.... Even his attitude at the top spoils the test outfit. Every team can't have a Shehwag type expendable batsman at the top, and we definitely afford the least. If he is unable to change his style of batting and adjust to the test conditions, he may only play in ODI and T20... While we can look for someone like Naeem's patience to bat at the top....if we afford that.

He almost scored another test 30 and will probably be our top scorer at 28. Give him a break, people!
