Very well played by India! Used their own conditions to great advantage in the last test and I expect the surfaces to be similar in the next test as well. I guess England will be praying to win the Toss because batting first will be a huge advantage

He'd definitely make our national team. Can't really compare our guys with the Indians. Their a top 4 Test team while we don't even have any ranking points.
By Indian standards though, Raina sucks in Tests. He's a very good T20I/ODIS player though and looks like it'll stay that way in his career for India

Pujara scores yet another 50 while the rest seem to be struggling.
Monty gets 3 so far!

Ashwin has turned out to be a good find for India in the longer formats. So useful with the bat.

If Pujara can carry this incredible form and class outside India the way Kohli has, India will continue to have the formidable batting side it has had with Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly even after Sachin's retires.

Is it just me or some of Aleem Dar's horror calls come against India? #StartAWar. Being the number one umpire, he can get away with it, and it's his way of giving it back to the Indians

Panesar gets Sehfag for just 9...now in form man, Pujara gone for 1 by Swann...both were close in catches. Splendid bowling and a splendidly sporting pitch!
Chokedulkar walks in...BCCI should tour us and he can get to 20,000 career runs easy. Big big occaision for the little Choker.

Kohli and Yuvy choke as well! India 5 down and still trailing. Can they get a lead of 125 and defend it?

What an innings by KP. shows why he is still the best batsman for England. we saw what England has done without him.
India losing this for sure. Penesar is the new hero for England...

Ashwin will be tough to dislodge, he's a class all rounder with terrific numbers.

^ or maybe not...India lose 7 in a session on a rank turner they asked for.
So England beats India 4-0 on greentops (according to Kohli) so if India wins 3-1 on rank turners does that mean England is > India???

India's almost getting bundled out in their own ground within 3 days.
So much for local flavour in the pitch !!
Getting beaten at their own game.
Good on ya Monty.
You are now my favourite SLA after Shakib, Sunny, Razzak, Enamul, Arafat, Saqlain and Vettori.

To be fair, India have only been playing Tests for 80 years...England have been playing for hundreds. India had a huge gap of 2 months between series. They also don't get to play much against sides like Bangladesh to boost their confidence (and averages). There players don't play much FC in Ranji and they've been focusing on IPL and CLT20 too much. They also don't make wickets that suit their strengths. Good thing they don't have any dead weights like we do!

India is an example why Bangladesh should come out of spin culture. This is what happens when your strength become your weakness
