Mushfiqur and his field placements
Okay. We have seen over the course of these two Tests that his field placing has been atrocious.
Why on earth would you not start with a first slip in the morning session? Why are the slip positioning so wide? Why is there no combination of silly point, short leg, silly mid off and silly mid on when the spinners are on?
Why is he not putting the batsmen in pressure? Why is he not creating chances? Why is he not at least trying to buy wickets?
Just fed up of this field placings to contain runs. Can't believe that this guy had prior experience of leading his team.
Where is the management? What are those guys upto?
May as well watch the Aus-SA Test.

The familiar spells of extensive brain freezes notwithstanding, I think he's even more clueless than HaBa and that's quite an achievement. That being said, he still towers over Mashrafe's one slip captaincy.

I have said this for a long time, I will say it again.
Mush needs to go.
Anamul, Jaharul and Dhiman are knocking. Step aside my Bengy!

There are paid coaches who are just getting paid for doing absolutely nothing. First and foremost blame must go to the coaching staff for not having any clue on gameplan let alone field placement.
Mushy should be taken off as a captain. He lacks common sense in cricket. Shakib should be the captain. Period.

Mushy is clueless as the captain and batsman. But he is doing fine as the WK. That would save HIM

First and foremost, we need a competent head coach who can identify the mistakes our captain is making. Untill then such cluelessness will prevail.

Waiting for that day when we will have some intelligent people around our Team. Selection, management, coaches, BCB, captains all are taking the cricket world and the fans for a ride or should i say torture...GOD save our cricket!

Fans are powerless. We wanted Nazmul, Sunny and Anamul from the begining,
did we get them?
Nope

Team management, are they watching the same game? Are they talking on field placing issues in team meeting?

The fact that he didn't start off with a slip at the beginning of the day.....
Like come on, even I know you should do that.

I don't think he is even doing fine as a keeper...the catch he dropped today would have been taken by most keepers.. He is too short and his area coverage is very small...however good he is within that area, but that's way too short... Just check Ramdin, how much he covers on either side of the wicket...even our Dhiman has a greater coverage...anything a little away on either side of the wicket is a sure 4 with mushy...

If there is any such thing as a "Captaincy Course" Mushfiq needs to take it real bad.

The total management has the wrong mindset. It's not fair to blame Mushy only.
The selectors are repeating the mistakes of calling players like Naeem in the ODI squad for their test success. It is already proven a thousands times that Naeem is not for shorter version. Yet they are doing the same. They drop hard workers like Nazmul and Zia in the team with giving any chance to play. This has been repeated a lot of times.
The team management (which includes coaches, captain and vice-captain) are also losers. They repeatedly chose dead rubbers like Junaed Siddique and Shahriar Nafees in the squad while don't give consistent performers like Anamul any chance to play.
The team management is so much brainless and clueless that they don't know that playing only 3-4 specialists bowlers is a crime test cricket. You need to take wickets in test to win matches. Our team management doesn't like the idea of taking wickets. That's why they keep on playing 8 batsmen!

Fielding placements and bowling rotations are one of the most key issues about which we have no clue. Throwing the new ball to Gazi might work against Gayle but that doesn't mean it will work against whole world.
