What Nadim said. If he was so tired, then he could've easily had Riyad or Nasir come in before him. You go out and bat, you have to perform, no excuses. And didn't Shakib score a 97 despite bowling about 50 overs? Yes he could've done better but at least he scored close to a 100. Forget about near hundreds, Mushy hasn't hit one 50 even this series. He needed to perform this series and he's failed to do so.

Enough with the excuses for our guys. They can perform if they want to but they have to do it on the field. You can talk all you want, practice as hard as you want but if you don't perform on the field then you aren't doing your job are you?

It doiesn't matter what us fans think, the selectors are far more intelligent than us and they will keep playing Mushy till he retires

When you pick an utter **** player as captain, this is what happens. Some players become worse after becoming captain, but this fool was never a good performer to become worse in the first place.

Yes, that was a bad call from him. If you can't handle it, don't take the responsibility.

But for these strategic decisions, you should have the coach and the team management to chip in with their thinking heads.

Looks like everyone was snoozing.

Tahole bolei feli, Anamul holo amader notun Asharfool. Mushfiqur er bodole Anamul ke dol e niley amader shob shomosshar shomadhan howe jabe.

1st Test 1st inning dekhar por bhablam Naeem hoyto Bradman hobe. 1st Test 2nd inning dekhar por bujhlam Naeem asholey Nazim o hoite parbe na ei jibone. Ekhon bujhlam Anamul hocche the real Bradman, Asharfool #2.

So Mushfiqur ke ghaar dhakka diye dol theke ber kore deya uchit.

Yes, the A word.
I also want Anamul in the team, but then you have to decide, who you want as the keeper and who just as the batsman ??

You kick Mushy out and bring Anamul in, in that same role (Batsman-Keeper), you are most likely to kill the next best thing to happen Bangladesh cricket, at least in this hopeless batting scenario.

Bring Dhiman or any other keeper batsman in the team, unless you stop the top order diarrohea, you going to have the same result everytime.

Not just keeper-batsman, I was thinking more along the lines of captaincy as well. Anamul has experience leading the U-19 team in a WC where he was the top scorer, so clearly captaincy doesn't affect his game like it does Mushfiqur's. Anamul should come in as keeper-batsman-captain, a lethal combo that will enable him to maximize his output as a member of the team.

Anyway, one thing he has improved over the yrs is his keeping. I can't remember when he dropped a easy dolly like he used to in his early days. Only if he could score some runs...

Asif, you are comparing the ODI stats with test there.

3 hours 50 overs isn't quiet the same as 18 hours 200 overs.

i reckon play anamul as a pure batsman for the moment. mushy does need to start performing though, but he has actually improved quite a bit over the years, both his keeping skills and his batting skills.

He was motivated and was having the feeling to get a century today, so he stepped in... but later he found, he was actually tired to play that long...so he took a wise decision to get out and send in Nasir. He is a very quick decision maker ...very few can do that.

I was just messing with you (Nadim got it). I don't really think we have a good alternative, I sure don't want Mushy dropped, I don't even know whether Anamul is ready to play as a batsman and I obviously don't want him as keeper/captain (LOL, it doesn't even make sense to want something like that).

The reality is that it doesn't matter who plays or doesn't play, we're screwed big time and have no hope or future. We're done, we're finished.

I will give him the ODI series...he is a better batsmen than what we have seen. you will have five more tries, you fail there, you should be kicked out of the team and captaincy.

Aichcha shakib ki taile mora te boisha batting kortesilo? are you trying to say bowling is less tiring than wicket keeping? He just choked.

Well if Anamul is not picked in the ODI games then it clearly shows Rahim is afraid of losing his position in the team.
