Swann and Monty took 19 out of a possible 20 Wickets against India.

Swann's been in a slump and Monty is no better than any of our SLA's and look what they did on a spinning track

Spinners don't need mystery balls to pick wickets in Test matches. Turn and Bounce from the pitch and good consistent lines did the trick for England. If there is pace and turn in the pitch I believe our spinners are more than capable of taking wickets but what will happen to our batsman is a different story altogether

Pitches were okay but batting temperament was the problem. If the batsman applied themselves and had the right technique they could draw the matches.

If the batsman don't have the attitude to play a test innings and you go a bowler short n a flat pitch... How the pitch would help you...at least get your team combo and game right for the surface you are offered...

The standard of our batting is such, that a flat pitch has taken us to 5 th day and helped us to avoid an innings defeat. A spinning pitch would make it worse.

BCB for scared by a kid who recently made his test debut and called for flat tracks, when our team has a master class spinner, plus some talented in-form, up-and-coming spinners. SMH. SMH.

Bangladesh do not have ability to win a test match yet, whatever the condition and strategy. They could maximum make the 1st test draw if they went for a draw. They were over ambitious and lost the game.

If it was a spinning track, that Narine would get 20+ wicket in the series and Bangladesh lost both the test massively.

I disagree. In the first test we had a target of 245 to chase in more than 70 overs. I don't think it was beyond our reach.

We need to first focus on how to get 20 wkts, and with our current bowling resources, I feel it needs to be a rank turner (like India prepared for Mumbai test) for us to remain in contest. What we don't want is to lose the toss and then toil for two days hoping for a declaration. Obviously in a turning pitch our batsman will suffer...but they suck in any condition so it wouldn't make much of a difference. We would get those magical forties regardless of flat decks or turning tracks.

Umm, wrong. Our spinners did relatively well on flat tracks compared to what Narine did. So if anything turning tracks would have helped us lot more. Our batsmen handled Narine with ease.

In 1st innings WI scored 500+ by losing only 4 wickets. Same WI got all out within 74 overs in 2nd innings by scoring only 273.

Simple indication was wicket is not as batting friendly as 1st innings. Definitly that wicket got worse in 4th innings as well. Why BD went for a win with a required rate of 3+????

This is test cricket and test cricket is field of temperment. Bangladeshi batters haven't got that temperment yet. If they could try to make the match draw, may be we could be in respectable position. Where our famous and everyone's favorite batting line up went for scoring at required rate and got out.

The batting line up who cannot survive 70 overs in 4th innings, how can they win??????

Chasing 273 is lot easier than playing for survival for 70+ overs. Simple. It obviously didn't work out, but they wouldn't have survived if they were playing for a draw either.

I don't think BD went for the chase though because Tamim looked defensive from the very beginning. If the choice was to chase down the target then Tamim would have been given the option to attack

So, BD needs to learn how to survive at first. Very basic rules. Attack without knowing defense is for tail-enders. Not a batting line up of a Test Team.

However. All the best for next test
