Interesting about cow corner - It's the area in between wide long on and deep mid-wicket where usually no one can hit. And the the joke is that you can have your cows grazing there peacefully and no hit will disturb them.

Rank turner uses rank as a prenominal adjective. Where it means absolute or complete - so a complete turner.

I find "silly mid on", "duck", "maiden" etc to be weirder and funnier.
Interesting observations. But, among the silly phrases the one involving point might be the funniest.

"Duck" - Batsman is a sitting 'duck' waiting to be knocked over?

"Maiden" i.e. (0.0.0.0.0.0) - unblemished/virginal connotation in describing the over?

You guys are not going to sucker me into doing something stupid like that. Have you ever had to eat leftover food for 10-15 people?

Looking forward to the lads clinching the series at Mirpur tomorrow and going into an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Expecting more two lakh takas thrown about from the sports minister and even another dinner with SH at her residency, plus cars and suit materials.... an acres of flooded land 50 miles outside of the City gifted to the squad

No more BMW/Toyota/CNGs for Shakib though please, His family has enough.

Interesting what Ian just said with all these rewards our players get on these kind of wins. Can you imagine what these players would've got had Bangladesh won the Asia Cup this year? Shakib already has won a Honda car at BPL who knows what he and his team mates might get next a Lamborghini, Limousine and lots of women

I hate to point out the obvious and cruel truth...

Because Ash didn't play.

As WindieFan pointed out, the real reason is because Johnson Charles, Dwayne Bravo and Denesh Ramdin didn't play.

Shane Jurgensen has to go. Bring in Ian Pont, or else this series is lost.
