Infact, the crucial couple of boundaries that Shohag Gazi hit charging Permaul down the wicket over mid on, we only saw the ball leaving the bat, and all looked at mid on but wasnt sure whether it was four or six cuz we could not follow the ball !!

I think day night matches should be arranged, but the time should be brought forward.
12.30-8.30 would probably give it a better balance for both the teams.
I was there for 3rd and 4th ODI but i did not have any problem sighting the ball. But i agree it was hazy.

^^ I dont know how bad it was on the 3rd or 4th ODI, so can't comment.
But things were looking rather heavy last night.

That's actually the best possible solution under the circumstances.

Theoretically it will mitigate the dew factor by 2 hours and create a more fair contest by having the defending side bowl more deliveries with a drier ball on a less slippery and more gripping wicket. Unavoidable smog, especially on workdays, is also a major factor behind poor night visibility during this season, but the earlier start would mean playing less deliveries under the lights.
