Impressed about Mushy's dedication to studies, i hope it rubs off on the contemporary players...
It's been a fascinating ride as an outsider to see Mushy, Shakib, Tamim and the rest of the team grow! In many cases, it is clear that they are learning from their mistakes, and that's the best we can expect from them.

Mushy has set a high bar here - hope he would be able to inspire the new kids.
Future is looking good indeed

Good to hear that our team is on the right shoulder, the same shoulder that carries the head full of such determination. Good luck to the captain and hopefully he can carry the burden with great composure.
Mushy's education does help him in articulating himself which Shakib and, needless to say, the rest lack very much. Tamim may be a little better than the rest but not like Mushy. Obviously Mushy is no where closer to the likes of Sanga but if Mushy can keep his education up he may, at least, be able to land a commentary job in the international arena; something our country lacks represenation big time.

Really impressed by his grit, determination and dedication; couldn't set a more fitting example to his fellow teammates that if you have the desire and intention then nothing is impossible. Here's the English and better version of the interview/article in CI:

Bangladesh news Mushfiqur bags Masters degree in History
Mohammad Isam
December 25, 2012
Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim has followed up his Man of the Series performance in the ODIs against West Indies with another notable achievement: he has completed his Masters degree in History from Jahangirnagar University. It's a rare accomplishment for top professional cricketers and Mushfiqur, who was accorded a reception by the university on Sunday, has said he hopes to set an example for his younger team-mates so that their futures are more secure.
After finishing school and college from BKSP, he joined the university in 2007 and has now completed an honours and masters. The specialisation in the latter was in contemporary South Asian history, and he finished with an impressive CGPA of 3.49. According to Mushfiqur, it wasn't a solo effort as his classmates and teachers ensured he didn't miss anything while playing for Bangladesh.

^^ Indeed, first-class in both honours and masters, now that's an achievement being a professional sportsman.

This is the reason why i like Mushy. His thinking process is like a true leader. I am hoping that one day he will become a legend of our cricket.

^ I don't believe a thing this Mohan guy is saying. They think they can just go around bullying people just because they have money/power. I'm glad Mushy is standing up for himself.

Firstly it was announced that the Icon players would get 10% more than the highest paid player of their teams (foreign or local). Then, at the request of the team owners', it was changed to 5% of the highest paid Bangladeshi player at the auction which was Nasir Hossain, bought for $200k so all Icons were supposed to be getting $210k. Maybe the BCB has again changed the payment scheme of Icon players to $100k each but have they let the players or even the media know? I don't remember any official announcement. I'm sure Mushy wouldn't stake his reputation on the line like this if this was the case. This Rajshahi owners needs to get the crap beaten out of him. First you begged the BCB to lower the players' dues and now your getting on a high horse because you supposedly paid $10k more than you were supposed to?! Abar 10 kuti takar mamla naki korbe she! Ajaira jotoshob.
It is genuine, he bowled and grabbed a wicket. But, the question is why. He needs to handover captaincy and keeping someone more eligible and concentrate fully on batting IMHO.

Mushy bowled and got a wicket? Who is that lucky batsman?
Mushy is just trying to be an allrounder. With 2 potential wk in team, he is trying his best to keep his position in the team by becoming an allrounder..
Ok seriously.. why did he bowl? 2-3 overs are understandable but 10 overs?
