M tin is more than welcome to focus on whatever he likes, as long as he's kept away from the National Team. Enough is enough!

The guy has a big heart I must admit, the way he went away from the question to praise Tamim's captaincy for yesterday's victory ...was amazing. [In Ch 9 post match program.]

Ash batted care-free in both games. I want him to bat similarly chasing 200+. A current boost of confidence may be a lot fueled by the strong muscle power of DG and also knowing batting first. Chasing a much lower score say 160+ may change the approach completely.

Ash has played well in T20 for BD. Perhaps, this is his only format.

If ash makes 5 consecutive 50 and then make duck, people will be still unhappy with him

Gache Kathal Gofe tel...
First let him score three 50s in a row, then think about the rest i.e. how fans will react.

It's not that fans will be unhappy with him, but we will expect that type of consistent performance over at least a couple of years before getting a recall to ODIs and/or tests. T20s are different, he's not been as bad in them.

ei shutat boroi Najuk aaj Kaal.
Will Motin repeat what Mofiz did today? If Mofiz can do it, it should be Pani Bhatt for Motin.
or will he tease us with another 50?

Motin now and then playing some Eid innings. But now we have lot of players who are able to play Eid innings. What we need is consistency.

Isn't that consistency "more than one BD player consistently playing Eid inning"?

38 from 35 from Ash and match was lost due to not enough to chase for a team like Sylhet. I will call it a selfish innings for a t20 opener. This aint the first time he played such innings that cost middle & lower order to handle more pressure of run rate. No matter how strong lineup you got, such slow batting is decisive enough to give favor to oposition in t20.

^ someone holds the anchor - and DG ended 8 wickets down. Its not like they had wickets in hand. Mushy played well - that is it.And look at the bowling figures of DG. All greater than equal to 8 RPO, Shak at 11+ except Sajib.

That's because they attacked at the top order - Momin and Mushy both attacked early on. Shak missed out - although to be fair he was trying a bit too hard to push the run rate up. It was not a pitch to play the kind of innings he did today.

a strike rate of 108 is not so cool , but still he tried to hold one end, but could have been a bit more attacking, only 3 fours & 1 six.
but good consistency.
