If that agent thing is true then we should abandon our players participating in their SLPL so they will lose millions of viewership from Bangladeshi's. Its obvious why though!!! Bangladesh will be playing Sri Lanka soon and it will give our players to experiment with them. Sri Lanka is scared!

Agent ruled out possibility......what does it mean?
It means agents have been instructed by the players that they wont participate in this years BPL.
Agents are players dalad not chairman of SLC or SLPL

I really hope BCB+BPL Committee can negotiate something to bring those players Jayawardne, Malinga, Matthew to BPL. Let the agent say whatever they want, BCB+BPL committee should directly contact the SLC board and find ways to get the players agree to play BPL.

Tickets for the first day is almost sold out.
Only 5000 out of 20000 tickets left.
Quote:
Unlike the lack of crowd interest for most of the games in Khulna, organisers believe that matches in Chittagong will witness a good turnout over the ten matches stretching from today till February 2 with a break on January 30. According to Omar Goni Chowdhury, member of the ticket distribution committee, 15,000 tickets for the first day have already been sold. MA Aziz Stadium's maximum capacity is 20,000.

Just wondering, has BPL stuck to their payment promises (by paying players x amount of money before the tournament starts)?

These rallies help to get people in the stadium...should have been planned in Dhaka before the tournament began.... BPL failed to anything to create buzz for the tournament....the result we saw as empty stadiums...

^^ They had a BPL link on the popular link section on the top right since the beginning.
I think it is about the number of hits they get.
Probably BPL has made enough hits for them to post a direct quick link now.
Also tournament wise, it is starting to pick up after SN's century.
Last year, we were fortunate enough to have a Gayle storm right at the very beginning on the first day first match to start the tournament with a bang.

"A recent video on Facebook has caught my attention. In the video it has been shown that I abused a GIRL who was looking for my autograph which is totally wrong and misleading!
It is true that I got aggressive and abused but it was never the girl rather one of the person standing near the stair case. I am being criticised for my act but first one needs to understand what made me react on such extent. At that moment, I came back to the dug-out getting dismissed in a match which we could have ended winning. I had no control on my nerves and that all I had in my mind was the frustration of things going wrong. While going up to the dressing-room, this guy standing near was literally abusing my parents which made me feel offended thus react.
It is true that as a national figure I should be more careful with my public acts but I want to remind all of you that at the end of the day, I am also a human being who has emotion like any other. It is usual for one to react in the worst possible way when frustrated and that exactly happened with me that day. It was not the first instance that I or any other cricketer that was abused in the worst way possible from a FAN from the gallery but this time things just went wrong.
We, the sports person, try to give our best to entertain and perform for the FANS, however if this is how a FAN should behave, I think it is better not to have one! At the end, all I want to say is you all cheer and celebrate when we do well or perform as per your expectation. But when things go wrong, all the love literally turns into hatred and ABUSIVE! Is that the right thing to do? I don’t think so, I will never call that a TRUE FAN.
P.S – This is my explanation on the whole thing which happened that day and still if anyone thinks that what I did was intentional and I am guilty, I ask for apology, but not from the GUY who flared the whole situation." - Tamim Iqbal.
