How about thinking him as a test opener?

He should be in our ODI and Test team. Not sure he's suited to T20s.

No way Jose. Anamul should open, he can play maybe at 5 or 6 or something. But I can hardly see him making the test squad at the moment.
Tamim
Anamul
Riyad
Naeem
Shakib
Mushfiq+
Nasir
where would you squeeze him in? Although I can easily see him play in the ODI team:
Tamim
Anamul
Riyad
Shakib
Mushy+
Jahurul
Nasir
....

We bat down to 8 in Tests. He can take the #3 spot.

Happy that top order players are playin well in BPL. Need to find a suitable #3 for all formats. Omi has put his hand up.

Regardless, you can't discard a player who just scored a ton in the last series - did OK in BPL too, didn't he?
He's certainly not in the league of Nazim. Junaid had potential but has got much worse lately.

I think JaRule is a strong contender for 6/7 slot in the ODI/T20I team, for his ability as a finisher.

Yeah fair enough then. Him to open with Tamim maybe, although I would much prefer someone who could score big tons like Ayub in tests.

This is idiotic!
Jahurul's double act
Young students at the Clemon Indoor University Cricket Tournament were shocked to see a national cricketer, Jahurul Islam, play among them at the Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium yesterday. The shock must have been greater among those who knew that he was captaining BCB North Zone against Walton Central Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League final, with the third day due to start just hours later, from 1 pm onwards.
The batsman, who was included in the 15-man squad that will be touring Sri Lanka next month, scored 49 runs off 16 balls and guided Dhaka University to a 93-run victory over Daffodil International University yesterday.
BCB North Zone's team manager Debabrata Paul told reporters that the batsman had not taken permission to play in the indoor tournament. However, the player reported in time for the ongoing BCL final.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) cricket operations committee, Enayet Hossain Siraj, told The Daily Star that if Jahurul indeed played in the indoor tournament, it was a clear violation of his central contract with the BCB. “We are expecting a report from his team manager soon. His act, if committed, is an audacious one and certainly a punishable offence.”
Jahurul is one of the cricketers under the central contract system of the BCB, contracted in Grade C, and thereby subject to the code of conduct of the game's governing body.
