This is old news(2011) but not many people are aware of this...

Samsung has opened its 18th research and development (R&D) center in Bangladesh(first IT-based R&D centre in the country set up by any multinational company) and the second in South Asia, after India. The centre, which already has over 100 employees, aims to recruit 1,000 engineers by 2013.
