C Ron ran the length of the pitch to complete his hattrick, not a RM fan but that was special.

Was a quality match to watch. Madrid didn't capitalise on their early chances. Khedira had a shocker of a shot first up from a good position in the box and left back Coentrao should have scored but a the finger tips from De Gea was all that was needed to save the goal. Welbeck was able to score a nice goal off a cross during Madrid's early dominance. Madrid bounced back with a nice header from CR7.

ManU didn't take advantage of their opportunities in the latter stages of the game. A good contest in the end. But i think De Gea's finger tip's save was what saved ManU from losing. But then again RVP had a good chance to win it for ManU.

It's been reported that Ronaldo can do 100m in 10.3-10.5 seconds, so no.

One thing i would love to see, but probably will never ever take place is the fastest footballers running a 100m race.

Right now apart from CR, David Odonkor and Abala of Bayern are both very fast.
In the PL, Walcott and Lennon are there;

few years back, Rommedahl, SIlvestre and Ivan Cordoba were fast well.
I remember Silvestre once making ground on Henry with a 15 yard handicap.

All that money spent on Modric, consider it 'worth it'. I do feel bad for Man U. They played theirs heart out.

Well done to RM, funny to see so many people crying over the red card, it was a flying boot to the chest of another player, very similar to De Jong's kick on Alonso, yet this is not supposed to be a red just because it is being played at Old Trafford and a Man U player is the offender

That Nani red card was 50/50 in my books. I was pleased to see the instant impact from Modric. He sparked Real Madrid into the contest with that boot of his.

I hope we win UCL this year!

What are you on about,

these two are similar?

it was yellow not a red, even madrid players knew it, arbelloa even said it was accidental by nani - no malicious intent. Nani was attempting to control the ball, a genuine 50/50 chance of winning the ball, de jong had his eyes on alonso, fully intentional, it was a reckless challenge, nani's one wasn't even a challenge

De Jongs one was more malicious in intent; the result in both cases was studs in the chest.
Nani's one did not look as bad because he started rolling in the ground.
Many refs would not have given a ref but stricter ones would.
