What's the most romantic thing you have ever done?

Wrote a poem once, bought a showpiece and flowers and went to a jewelry store to give it to the lady.

Turned out she had a ring on her ring finger. So being the genius that I am I was like: Happy Thanksgiving to you and your husband!

Needless to say no law enforcement were involved.
