Congratulations Mushfiq. Your dedication and professionalism is why you reached this summit before your comrades. You truly deserve this honor. May this be just the beginning of many such feats.

Alhamdulilah. MashAllah.
Congratz Mushfiqur Rahim.

Very chuffed for him. Well done. One of me favourite he has become after that BPL semi final innings against Dhaka for Sylhet.

Indeed, proving very much, the right guy to lead the team.

Didn't someone tab him as the golden boy of Bangladesh cricket ? I remember all the resident geniuses were up in arms over that comment. I will fondly remember him today.

Hope he Makes a Double Soon, but i feel he lacks that patience. Rather Tamim might do it, if he can improve his stamina a bit. ..

I'll be extremely happy if someone like Mominul or Anamul or someone new breaks it

Hope we don't have to wait another 8-9 years for that

I wonder what his reaction to Mushy's century was. As a friend and colleague, I'm sure he was very happy for him but he must have also been irked just a little by the fact that the man who had a role in getting him run out on 144, went on to score a double century before him XD

will be very nice if he can do that, and he is one who is capable of doing so. But I feel like Nasir, Anamul, Mominul from these three one will over take the record before Shakib. Just my feelings nothing with reality.

Regardless of his record being broken sooner or later, no one can brake the record of being the first BD player to score a double ton.
