Matir nicch theke gorom uthe ashe !! Maney ki bhai ?

Anyway, congratulations and best wishes for SRK and his beloved better half for 2nd innings

Shahadat is a better bowler than most of our pacers.. He is mostly subject to poor fielding and does never get a continuous chance in any series... Well he has his weaknesses like other pacers but, he has the most potential to be a decent bowler, if guided and given continuous chance in a series...don't drop him with one bad match ina series, that doesn't help.

his wickets per match ratio in ODIs is less than 1, every bowler gets bad fielding at times, maybe BD bowlers get a bit more than on other teams but still he should be able to at least get 1 wicket per match.

Everyone knew this would be result with Shahadat. Yet we had to take a chance with him. Somehow someway he found a way into the side. Just dont understand how or why

He is led by a pace bowling coach who can't even spell pace. I can't blame Shahadat, he did not select himself.

1st ODI

Abul Hasan 5 0 52 0 10.40 (1w)
Rubel Hossain 5 0 44 1 8.80

3rd ODI

Shahadat Hossain 5.0 0 33 0 6.60

So, @Jadukor and others who are trashing him on preconception and being sobjanta, needs to chill and look at the stats, if that's what u believe in. When I said, I didn't mean the stats, because, I value his wicket taking ability...a 5 wkt haul is something for a bd pacer. But off course, we need a good coach to guide him as well as all pacers. But I do see better potential in him, but he surely needs guidance and improvement.

he's never got a 5 wicket haul in ODIs though and even though he's got some in tests he's not done well as a whole or recently, and by recently i mean like in the last 3 or 4 years which is a pretty big chunk of time.

so you say "most of our pacers" and then only bring up the stats of Abul and Rubel. May be one more puff of the stuff will make you bring out Shanto and Anisur Rahman's stats also.

Btw those of us who are all trashing Shahadat are also trashing Abul and to an extent Rubel.
