Batted well...fielded superb. Mushy could give him a few overs with the ball.

Clearly becoming our finisher..... The guy is so good, one just feels tempted to send him up the order so he gets to face more deliveries.

Unfortunately for him, cricket a team game and is played by 11 players. I felt the same for him today as i use to feel for shakib. Not until we remove some morons from this team, the contributions of shakib tamim nasir mush will bite the dust.

tamim and mushy aren't quite as consistent as shakib and nasir, if they were the team would probably win more often.

Talent should be Nasir's last name. He will be a big name player in international cricket in a few years time at the rate he is going.

if mominul or naeem can continue to perform then we don't need to look at nasir being pushed up the order anyway. unless you're thinking of playing him at #3 but i think it would be better keeping him where he is and trying to find the #3 solution somewhere else.

plus i think in ODIs if you're going to push someone up the order it should be riyad since his style doesn't suit his general lower order position that he bats in. in tests i don't think it's a good idea at all to push a lower order bat straight up to the #3 spot, better pushing down and opener or pushing up a #4.

Totally agree. He has become my second favorite Bangladeshi cricketer after Shakib. Love the desire and gumption, the rare ability to improve quickly, the passion for consistency, and the fun they always seem to have out there.

Theres no doubt he should stick to that position.

Though our top order isn't anywhere close to the top order the Aussies had.

looking at nasir's videos I notice a few shots that he plays over and over again to great effect. One of them is the standing tall, standing his ground and hitting over mid off with no feet movement. Sometimes he plays that similar shot but with some momentum from usage of his feet He has pulled quite a great number of sixes by that.
And the other is the slog over mid on.

After 14 Test innings, Nasir averages 44.28. Do people think he can maintain or even improve such an average?!
