Love how Tamim's name is amongst the likes of Michael Clarke, Amla, G. Smith, Mark Taylor.....

I had a real facepalm moment when he asked the people (who work at Lords) that shouldn't his name be up there for scoring a 50?

Why is TIK always a victim of bad umpiring decisions?

Opponents know the importance of his wicket so the appeal is x10 of any regular appeal. Goes for shakib too..

Tamim Iqbal fined

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal was fined 10% of his match fee after "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match". He pleaded guilty to the offence during a hearing conducted by the match referee Chris Broad after both on-field umpires charged him.

He was found to have breached Article 2.1.3 of the ICC code of conduct. The incident happened in the fourth over of the second innings when the ball delivered by Shingi Masakadza went past Tamim's bat. After an appeal from the bowler and some of the slip fielders, umpire Tony Hill gave him out although replays clearly showed that there was daylight between bat and ball.

All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50% of a player's match fee.
Why don't they fine the umpires?? Eto bhul korle to player ra mad hobei.

Umpiring is turning into a joke. Murrobi umpire der sathe beyadobbi kora jabe nah. Umpires should be held accountable for giving wrong decision. Umpire makes the mistake but the player has to pay the fine? How is that fair?

I don't get it. how can these morons make so much umpiring blunders but still get to keep their job!!! where is ICC? i demand a suspension to be handed to these two fools & a investigation be made immediately.

Hmilton Masakadza (was it?) was PLUMBED LBW in the second innings but not given by blind umpire whereas Ashraful was judged LBW'd witouth a second thought when the ball clearly was missing Leg stump. that was just one example, of course both side suffered from bad umpiring throughout this test. this needs to stop. it takes all the fun out of the game for viewers like me right there.

For long tamim has been BD's Number 2 most valuable player, but now his position is gone, he is downgraded to Number 3 by nasir, i hope this hurts tamim's big ego and he practices hard.

the tamim who once said he wants to score 100s not 50s is gone, we want that tamim back, if he gets that tamim back only then he can give a run for money to Shakib and Nasir

As much as we criticize him, he is probably the only batsman in the country who can play well in any condition and against quality opposition bowlers. But need to work harder

Tamim's role in the team is far different than Shakib and Nasir's. Tamim has to handle the new ball and pace. His role is to build the foundation. Shakib comes in to make sure the good work continues in the middle overs by keeping the scoreboard ticking and Nasir is our finisher to ensure we have a good total on board. All 3 play critical roles in the team and are key players in making sure that we get a good total on board

Yup, this is probably one of the things I hate about ICC. You fine the play for being the victim of your shitty employee. That makes sense.

Lol wonder what they'd do to players like TJ Lang who tweeted that awesome truth during nfl replacement ref mess.

Default Tiger Tamim plays like a pussy (cat) now!!!

I wonder what's wrong with Tamim. His approach in both matches is confusing. He's not sure whether to attack or play defensively. He used to have the role to give us a flying start even against sides that are far superior to Zim bowling. Is he hurting from his injury or he's told to change his game? I don't see any game plan in his approach.

This is why cricket always was and will be a sissy sport. Why do you think this the only sport we remotely excel in?

65 from 133, very uncharacteristic of Tamim in this series. He should just stick to his game. Dropped doesn't mean you should play extra slow and extra cautiously.

at the end of the 7th over BD was 32/2 and at that moment tamim was on 20 of 25 balls i.e a SR of 80.

since then tamim started to play slow and the next 12 runs took him 35 balls and there was 25 balls dots in those 35 balls. where as at the same time mushy was maintaining a SR of 80 at the other end.

and before the ball tamim got out he played out 13 consecutive DOT balls

can somebody explain this ????

The issue with Tamim is his inability to understand the match situation. When your team is in trouble, you need to play proper cricket.

There is nothing between attack and defense for Tamim. The worst batsman I have ever seen when it comes to rotating the strike, Inzi was better, only that he was a poor RBW
