^Highly doubt. Only shak will cope. No expectations in TI and Lala has sucked as of late.

I'm more worried about our fast bowlers. We will most likely end up losing at least 1 of our fast bowler due to injury and SRK will be leading our attack again. I hope I'm wrong.

Ya I agree. I don't really worry too much about Tamim and Shakib because they come through more often than not. Of course some of their actions make people scratch their heads but at the end of the day they pull through and do well.

Our pacers on the other hand is such a big worry, fitness and performance wise. Look at how both Robiul and Shafiul were injured for last tour. Rubel had to carry a lot of the bowling work last tour. More likely than not we'll see Shahadat back because our pace attack is that depleted. Because if you think about it, we only really got Rubel, Robiul and Al-Amin for Tests. Mash and Shafiul can't bowl in Tests anymore. Zia isn't really fit enough to bowl in Tests regularly and Nazmul always seems to be injured. Abul is still recovering from a serious injury and Taskin is just coming back.

So Shakib holds the record of fastest ODI 100 by B'deshi. From 63 balls vs Zim in Bulaway. He also holds the 2nd fastest, that came from 68 balls, also vs Zimbabwe in Dhaka.

I'm uploading the first one on youtube as am typing but have no footage of the 2nd one. can anyone help?

BTW, in both these matches, Rok had huge p'ship with Shak.

Thanks Nadim. I didn't know that actually but then again not too surprised considering the fact that those 100's were scored so quickly. Hard to replicate that.

Also Rock and Shakib are 5th all time for Bangladesh in partnership runs but they have the highest average amongst the top 5 in ODI's. In 22 innings, they mustered 881 runs at an average of a 44 with 2 hundreds and 4 fifties. Pretty obvious that they both complement each other really well.

No worries!

I was aware of the fastest 100 but not the 2nd fastest. Came across the other day when Corey got the fastest odi 100.

anyway, here is the highlights of the fastest 100

LOL at how he got out. Mushy did a Motin there. Shak could have possibly got the fastest 150 if he was there till the end in that game.

No complain about salary, no complain about homesickness, no complain about hortals, not an attention seeker, now even trying to adopt to local food. He seems like not a complainer, but trying to be content and happy regardless whatever the constraints are. No more drama,

The more time passes, the more I am happy with this coach. it turned out to be a very good and cost effective selection.

Forget India (who will score 500), even Afghanistan will cream us at Fatullah. They've played bowlers of Rubel's quality at the U-10 level. When you face guys like Zadran and Hassan in the nets, Rubel/Shafiul start to seem like dudbhaat.

Their pacers are as bad as ours in ODIs. Hence we chased 290 pretty comfortably against them. Whoever wins the toss basically wins the match, especially if India wins it.

Really great people, both Shane and Cory. Friendly, funny and helpful. Cory has a good subcontinent accent too.
