The funny thing is I am not sure will I be watching cricket anymore the way I used to since my early teen years when no Bangladesh team was present in any series such as World Cup, Triseries in Sharjah, Benson & Hedges Cup etc.

I watched cricket out of passion and the dazzling performance of top class cricketers made me thrilled with sheer joy and pleasure. I doubt after such incident I would be able to carry the same attraction to teams those represent countries and boards who will be the probable reason for your question.

we better start thinking about a sport which india doesn't play and try to be good at it.

or we can try to be good at a sport which isn't controlled by india

for example we were good at soccer and it was extremely popular in the 80s and early 90s..may be this is an opportunity for us to focus in football!..lets try to get in the WC by 2030!

I think we will be playing a lot with south africa. If the proposal is passed then BCCI will seek revenge and banish SA or have them relegated by ammending the rules.

Just fine.

Live goes on.
Nothing is not-replacable in life.
Wounds heals over time.

Sometimes I feel that I waste too much time on crikcet, speacially those tests when we lose. This will give me the opportunity to so something better.

I have the faith on Doc Z big boss that he will turn this site into a good one to visit for all of us! Here's an idea,

life shape out just fine without Bangladesh Cricket. That means more time for social activity, less heart burn, few sleepless night followed by grumpy mood for next few days, potentially more successful career, long life, happy face.

its like cigerette. Know that I should quite, but hard to quit.

Ironically I've gone back to the days of following scores on cricinfo but now only a few times during game day. If I sense a fight from our players then I make an attempt to watch the last 10-20 overs....90% of my interest in BD cricket has been replaced by NFL, NBA playoffs, World Cup, MLB playoffs, KKR in IPL - in that particular order...it'll take at least a couple of closely contested series against G8 to get me motivated to follow regularly again

1. Same as the first 30+ years of my life had been.
2. Would have several good night sleep.
3. Wouldn't be late at work for several days.
4. Wouldn't be emotionally wrecked on several occations.
5. Wouldn't enjoy the moments of joys (very seldom) that BD cricket brought it.

It's going great so far. Didn't watch any games during BD Ind series. Watched highlights of Taskin's bowling on youtube, that's it. World cup will get me through July. American Football preseason and college football starts in August/September, followed by College Basketball in November. I'm good for the rest of the year.

Yep it is going great. BD cricket team killed the love for cricket as a whole. Now I don't even bother to watch Australia vs South Africa or the Ashes. I do follow BC because i just enjoy the undying passion of other BCers even during the darkest of times. Other than that watched a bit of US Open, La Liga and mostly spending time playing coop missions with a friend back in bd on the PS4
Never thought i would survive it but I am.

It is not just me... i speak to my friends and they have all lost interest. I mean there should be a limit to how much a team can suck. It started way back from the Sri Lanka series at home and still continuing! We can't beat anybody even when they have their worst days on the field. The tactics the selection the repetition of mistakes just became too overwhelming. I realized F this crap...
As a fan following the team through thick and thin I now demand a fair return on my emotional investment. I want them to fight..take games close and win some of them. Enough of this shomman jonok porajoy and individual milestones. Unless they win I am boycotting this team.
